CR and WISCO General Hospital and Huaibei Kuanggong General Hospital have newly approved 4 provincial key clinical specialties

The rehabilitation medicine department, ultrasound department and clinical nursing of CR and WISCO General Hospital were rated as key clinical specialties in Hubei Province. The anesthesiology department of Huaibei Kuanggong General Hospital was rated as a key clinical specialty construction project in Anhui Province.

Rehabilitation medicine department of CR and WISCO General Hospital is one of the first batch of national quality control sentinel hospitals in Hubei Province, the deputy director unit of Wuhan Cityhabilitation Quality Control Center, the relying unit of Qingshan District Rehabilitation Department Quality Control Center, the education and training center of pelvic floor rehabilitation of Chinese Society of Rehabilitation, and the science and technology education base of Chinese Society of Rehabilitation Medicine. There are neurology rehabilitation, orthopedics rehabilitation, critical care rehabilitation, pelvic floor, children rehabilitation, pain rehabilitation and other sub-specialties. An integrated rehabilitation model has been realized through the construction of a three-level rehabilitation network, early clinical intervention, rehabilitation critical illness in tertiary hospitals, and community rehabilitation in the recovery period.

Ultrasonic department of CR and WISCO General Hospital is the deputy director unit of the Hubei Provincial Ultrasonic Diagnosis and Treatment Quality Control Center, the committee unit of the Hubei Provincial Ultrasonic Professional Committee, the standing committee unit of the Wuhan City Ultrasonic Professional Committee, the postgraduate training point the ultrasonic medical specialty of Wuhan University of Science and Technology. In the past three years it presided over nearly 10 provincial and municipal scientific research projects,  authorized 4 invention patents, and won a number of provincial, municipal and group scientific and technological progress awards. It has several sub-professional groups, such as cardiology, abdominal, obstetrics and gynecology, peripheral vascular, superficial organs and muscle and bone, interventional diagnosis and treatment,and etc..

The Nursing Department of CR and WISCO General Hospital is the Qingshan District Branch of Wuhan Nursing Quality Control Center and the Vice Presidency of Wuhan Nursing Association. It has several nursing specialty clinics, including wound ostomy, PICC, and traditional Chinese medicine nursing, as well as an online nursing clinic. It has established respiratory therapy, ven therapy, wound ostomy, diabetes nutrition, and other nursing professional groups. It has developed superior nursing disciplines such as obstetrics, surgery, brain and heart health management, trauma and critical care. It has established a full-life-cycle care concept and a comprehensive integrated care service model covering pre-hospital, in-hospital, and post-ospital care.

The Department of Anesthesiology of Huaibei Kuanggong General Hospital integrates clinical and emergency resuscitation, pain diagnosis and treatment, and peri management into a comprehensive first-level discipline with comprehensive development of medical, teaching and research. It is a national mine emergency security unit, the main committee unit of the Anesthes Branch of Huaibei City Medical Association, and the collective of the Youth May Fourth Medal of Huainan City. It was the first hospital that in Huaibei area to carry out medical services. It performs more than 25,000 cases of anesthesia in and out of the operating room every year, and independently completes nearly 700 of cardiac and great vessel surgery anesthesia, with the safety rate of perioperative period of cardiac surgery leading the country. It was the first one that in Huaibei and surrounding areas obtain the qualification of drug clinical trial (GCP), and completed nearly 10 GCP projects. It has hosted one project of the Key Research and Development Plan of the and Technology Department of Anhui Province, three key projects at the college and university level, and five municipal projects. It has five national utility model patents. More than 30 papers have been published in core journals.
