Ruizhou district is led by Ruizhou Hospital. There are four second-class hospitals, including General Hospital of Fengcheng Mining Bureau, Xinyu Mining Hospital and First Staff Hospital of Yamcha Mining Bureau, and it also has five branches and four outpatient departments.  The hospital has 1012 employees, including 410 senior and intermediate titles. It has 1450 open beds. It is characterized by micro-trauma, burn, replantation of amputated limb, skin flap, rehabilitation of traditional Chinese medicine and hemodialysis. It is the first batch of free hemodialysis designated medical institutions in Jiangxi province.
